They have had to learn new schemes, prove themselves again and again to new coaching staffs, and all of panther nation should give them a great sendoff on Saturday!

At least 6 of the 19 will be in NFL camps. That's a pretty good percentage.

19 more Pitt men into the real world. Congrats boys and finish out strong!

Its been a heck of a year, and these kids have been through hell and back during their careers, so thank you for staying a Panther! Shows real character to stick through this program through some turmoil.

Interesting to look at the senior's "star" ratings and offers based on this site...

Bam Bradley 3 star, offers from AZ, Cin,MichSt,NW,OSU,PSU,Stanford,Tenn,Syra,Vandy,WV
Ryan Lewis 3 star, offers from Colo and Utah
Matt Galambos 3 star, offers from Rutgers, Syracuse and Temple
Terrish Webb 2 star, Kent St and Toledo
Ejuan Price 3 star, Iowa, MichSt, Syra,WV, Ohio State (committed to OS and switched to Pitt)
Shakir Soto 3 star, BC,Maryland,Temple,VA
Reggie Mitchell 2 star; Wisc, Villanova,Duquesne (went to Wisconsin and transferred back...)
Mike Caprara 2 star; Pitt was It!
Tyrique Jarrett 3 star; no other offers listed
Chris Blewitt 2 star; Temple
Scott Orndoff 3 star; BC, Mich, MSU, VA, WV, Wisc (was going to Wisky til Chryst came in...)
Dontez Ford 2 star; Akron, Temple, Vandy, Syracuse (went to the Cuse; transferred back...)
Nate Peterman 4 star; So.Miss, Vandy, WF, W.Mich,Cincy,UConn (Tenn before transfer...)
Bisnowaty, Adam 4 star; Duke, FL, Mich, MSU, PSU, Vandy, VA, WVU
Johnson, Dorian 5 star; offered by everybody who is anybody...
Parrish, Jaymar 3 star; Akron

Note that the class of 2012 was Chryst's first class and only 4 of the 16 recruits are left on the team (Bradley, Lewis, Caprara, and Bisnowaty) and the only other players who "contributed" anything significant were JP Holtz, Daryl Render, and Chad Voytik, unless you want to count Rushel Shell.

8 of the listed players are from the 2013 class which had 27 players. 12 additional players from that class are still on the team and have another year of eligibility.

So, IMO, the 5-star lived up to the rating; the two 4-stars are very good players; of the 3 stars, Price, Galambos and Orndoff are finishing strong. Bam's career was probably a bit disappointing given his offers, but he has come on some this season.

I'd say the coaches have done pretty well with having this group as the grizzled veterans.

Go Pitt."

Good synopsis there, we've seen that same thing over the years here. Star ratings don't ensure successful careers

Very good post. One thing to keep in mind is that the 2012 class also had some Toddy Graham holdovers, so obviously that had something to do with the high rate of attrition. Some of those guys were up to no good, some where just flat out no good, and some just didn't fit here.

2012 was really the last unstable recruiting class pitt had. 2013 had a lot of kids, but it produced pretty well. Plus, some of those 2013 kids were late bloomers (Taleni, Edwards, Weah)

Thanks it was a philadelphia cartoonist, the same one that had jokepa going to heaven years ago. After all the other stuff came out that showed jokepa actually knew about the rapes, he made a new drawing, this one, to show his disgust and make amends for his previous one.
You posted from the wrong handle.

Well, that is true, there was almost no players left from Grahams class, that is why we didnt have many scholarships available last year
