Something fun to do now that the season is over.

Obviously this is very subjective and it is tough with a players playing for multiple coaches. Also some players had up and down careers (i.e. Arron Berry). Some are on the team because they played a bunch of games because there was no one better even though they weren't great (Mike Capara). Didn't waste my time with Fraud Grahams team. I keep it to Walt and more recent I am have to look up Mike Gotfried team as that was insane talent but I was 9 years young back then. This is not listed in any order just as they popped in my head (obviously Fritz and Revis get written down without looking at rosters or who played for what coach like I had to do for others) Also there is no particular offense or defense being run that is why there are 2 QBs, 3 RBs, 4 WRs, etc. 2 observation. 1) as a whole Wanny imo had the most talent. 2) We had/have some damn good fullbacks, too bad it is not a more featured position. The ? under Narduzzi is because he is still early in his career and someone may emerge in that role that is voided or hopefully that player I wrote will fill that void.

That is how I see it. What says you?

I must apologize for the layout. i had a table that kept everything aligned but that got erased.

A couple that you missed...

>Gus Mustakas started out at DE but moved inside after his freshman year.
> Greg Romeus should easily be the other DE for Wanny.
>Phil Clarke played for Walt and he was better than any of those LBs you have listed there, with the exception of Hayes.
> Stephens and Crochunis were reliable but I think Tyree Young might have a case there. Too bad he was booted before he fulfilled his potential

You 1st 2 points go hand to hand. I realized that but forgot to actually make the change. It was more an editing error than an omission.

your 3rd point i kind of struggled with that. Young was defiantly more dynamic than Stephens or Crochunis but he only played a handful of games compared to the other two who were multi year starters. If he could have kept his act straight be could have been mentioned with the like of Aaron Donald he was that great, but he was more unrealized potential than production for lack of games played.

8 of the RB/FBs played in the NFL

9 actually

RB
Kevan Barlow
Shady
James Conner
Nick Goins
LaRod Steph-Howl
Brandon Miree
Dion Lewis

FB
Lousaka Polite
Hank Hynoski

plus 3 QBs started an NFL game and a 4th was in the league for a few years also.

There has been a lot of talent here over the past 20 years but it either wasn't coached right or there was not enough of it at the same time.

I missed Miree, who did he play for?

Miree played some FB for a season in Green Bay. He was drafted by the Broncos, but never played in Denver.
