Is absolutely tremendous, is a RS FR and fr down the street in Pickerington, OH. He was a no-star recruit. How in the world was there a 6'10 kid that skilled right down the road and Stallings thought it was a good idea to offer Peace Illegomah instead?

Speaking of East/Central Ohio kids, how many no-stars have come out of there. Couldn’t we "reach" for one of these guys?

CJ McCollum
Jack Gibbs
Trey Burke (1 scholarship offer, real late)
Caris Levert #239 prospect
Now this Belmont dude?

This Belmont kid should be working hard to graduate next spring so he can grad transfer with 2 years left.

Or maybe he likes it at Belmont and realizes you can make the NBA from a non power conference school if you are good enough. See....Steph Curry, Paul George, Damian Lillard, Kawhi Leonard, Steve Nash, Scottie Pippen, CJ McCollum, Larry Bird, Ja Morant this year and I can go on and on.

Perhaps he wasn't that skilled coming out of high school. The kid took a redshirt year at Belmont. This kid waa recruited by zero majors.

Kept hoping that Pitt would recruit Ohio a little harder..
Yes, Michigan, OSU, MSU, etc. will get their guys when they want, but there always seem to be dudes in that state that Pitt should recruit a little more often.

Trey Burke was a top-100 player in the 247 composite and was committed to and decommitted from multiple schools during the recruiting process. He certainly didn’t have one offer.
