We are also getting to that point in the year where on one hand, I kind of want syracuse to win because it will keep them as a top 50 win. On the other hand, they are gonna be a bubble ACC team, and we are competing against them for a bid.

I think ACC will ultimately get 7-8 bids, although right now only 4 teams would be in the NCAA's for absolute certain (UNC-UVA-Miami-Ville). Probably 5 other teams right now legitimately in the hunt for 3-4 bids.

TeamRankings.com has us favored to LOSE 7 of our remaining 9 games.

However, only two of those are considered really tough, @UNC (17.8% chance of winning), and @Miami (24.8). Others where the other team is favored to win are not by that much, Ville (44.3), @Cuse (44.9), Duke (45.9), @GT (48.1), and UVA (49.0).

These are based on statistics and include the blowout losses to Ville and NCS.

Also, various other factors like UVA being hot right now, Pitino having our number but Dixon having Boeheim's number, etc, are not taken into account.

The game against UVA is a big one with @Miami and @UNC following that. If we play as good as we did against VT we should be OK. Otherwise, we may be looking at more famine than feast the rest of the way out.

I watched the end of the game and saw Hokies choke the game away blowing a 9 or 10 point lead late.
