I think you can pull any narrative you want from the transfer numbers.

One could just as easily argue that one issue is a *lack* of starters losing jobs. There should be more ex-starters on this team in the portal. Particularly on offense. We really needed a lot of low ceiling guys to have lost their jobs over the last few seasons. They haven’t. And you see those lack of job losses playing out on the field.

The numbers fit whatever narrative you want.
