Many of the former players and board members who are really butt hurt about this aren't exactly poor. Let them rally the fan base and pump money into the naming rights so they can get their wish. At the end of the day, their BoT will name the stadium almost anything except for maybe Pitt Stadium if the check is big enough. It's always about the dollar signs. They should know that by now.

It’s amazing these idiots have nothing bigger in life to worry about than the damn naming rights of a football field and that they waste so much time resources and money on something this stupid… they literally never grew out of a high school mentality
The new AD and his administration at PSU are actually really good at their jobs — and to their credit they don’t bow to the JoeBots.
It's because they all tied their identity to a false narrative of success with honor. They don't want to be seen as frauds like their false idol paterno.

I wonder how many PSU grads have won awards as prestigious as the Pullitzer. It would be nice to see PSU honor her by naming the field after her.
I am somewhat surprised that the Central PA Chapter of the uhhh...you know....didnt buy the naming rights. There's no whiter place in America than Beaver Stadium on a fall Saturday
