I mentioned something like this in another thread like a month ago, but it was a little out of place there, so... here.
Is it crazy to attach an additional importance to this season for the reason of attracting a really good transfer quarterback? Like, if we win 9 or 10 games, and because we aren't losing many key pieces after this season aside from the big one (and a few others, but everyone is losing SOME good players), do we all of a sudden become an attractive destination for a good transfer quarterback? And if we're coming off a 9/10-win season and bringing in a QB with a little hype, do we all of a sudden become an attractive destination for Robinson, Gallagher, etc.? I mean, this is how these things work, right? Success breeds success, and that is how you turn the corner.
Looking back, there have been a multiple of opportunities for this program to turn the corner since I've been a fan. We haven't exactly seized them. This seems like the next one.
