Funny conversation on The Fan driving home...did anyone else hear it?
Chris Mueller, a lifelong Pitt fan despite being a PSU alum, told Filipponi that PSU losing to SMU on Saturday at home would be in his top 5 all time best days of his life. After the birth of his 2 kids, getting married and getting engaged. Filipponi then asked "even more than your teams winning it all? The Steelers winning the Super Bowl over the Seahawks and the Pens winning the Cup??" He goes "YES! When my enemy can experience such a painful loss, that exceeds my team being victorious!"
The man gets it...my 2 favorite teams are Pitt and whomever is playing PSU that weekend. True Pitt fans understand.
