He had the infamous Soph. slump....has hit many of he best players to ever play college ball. No less of a HOF(pro & college) Anthony Drew Dorsett found his Soph. season to be his toughest go at it. Injuries did help "the Hawk" in having that let down season & Elliott Walker picked up the slack.
Speaking of 1 of the truly great Pitt players who gets no where near the respect & attention he deserves when talking about Pitt All Time greats...Elliott Walker was a stud in his own right. Elliott was a winner w/ total team first play. He delivered some killer blocks that sprung Tony D on numerous occasions while being a deceptive runner in his own right.

Ageee. He was not the same player last year when he was forced to be more involved in coverage. Hopefully he'll be a more complete all-around safety now.
