As a Seminole, I was delighted several years when I heard that Pitt would be joining the ACC.
I remembered having watched Marino, Green, Ricky Jackson and that bunch at Doak Campbell all those years ago and believed when Pitt joined that it might be a sleeping giant of college football that could awaken with the right leadership. It would be terrific for the ACC if you could return to national power status as the great ACC team in the middle (sort of) Big 10 country.
