hopefully, it works out for him but right now it seems like a dumb decision.Okunlola should've stuck around. Smh
Kancey and AD are maybe the 2 best Pitt DT’s I’ve seen, going back a LONG time. Very strong and lightning quick.Kancey is a classic example of someone who had talent but was 100% bought into the process of becoming a professional. Donald, Tywman, and Kancey completey transformed their bodies while at PITT. A lot of schools bypassed them because they didn't pass the eye test at 17 years old. 3-4 years later they were different athletes.

Twyman really could’ve used more time in college. His biggest detriment was stamina and endurance. He’d tap out after 3 or 4 plays. Needed more college experience and conditioning.Probably, but Twyman's 2019 season is way overlooked. Dude had 10.5 sacks (Kancey's high was 7.5). Obviously that's just one component. I think Kancey has more quick twitch and would have passed him eventually, but I do wonder what would have became of Twyman without Covid.

But I understand the family pressure he was under.
Another Pitt DT who would have been a stud was Tyre Young. Woodland Hills guy. Same mold as the others mentioned. Not huge. But really quick, fast and strong for a DT. Could penetrate and create inside pressure on the QB and run and make plays sideline to sideline. Then TX A&M cheap shotted him. Illegally chop blocked him and broke his leg. Ended his career.
