In my humble opinion - Paris Ford should be molded into an Ed Reed-type safety. Period. End of story. Let him sit 15-20 yards off of the line of scrimmage, and utilize his athleticism and play-making ability to come up with the big plays. The kid is a playmaker. He won't be a run-stopper. He is a ball-hawk. If that means he isn't in the starting fold, and only comes in on nickel sub-packages this year, then so be it. I don't think at this time he is a true corner, nor any better at CB than the corners we have. He may not have enough knowledge of the D to supplant a starter at Safety. That will come in time. However, this kid just screams safety.

Am I crazy?
