Their headline on Tuesday said "Big news for Jeff Capel and Pitt." The free part of the article said "Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Capel is getting good news with a big-time visitor."

Half a week later, there is still no leak on who this could be. Their Twitter feed specifically said its not Diallo. Is Sy worthy of a "big news" headline just because he decides to take a visit? The only justification for a mysterious "big news" visit would have to be a Top 50 player IMO because visits dont always result in commitments so just the chance at a Top 50 would make it "big news." But my guess is its probably that Sy is visiting.
 
I followed them for a while but Vukovcan is a buffoon. I actually think Saunders is ok and should be with a more reputable outlet.

The beginning of the end for me were the silent verbals. Then he posted some cryptic nonsense about Hamlin.

That site is just about worthless.

I'm a member of the site and I know who's planning on visiting and it's good news, but it's kind of blown out of proportion. It's not top 150, but it's a player most of would like to play here, we'll see about attitude ;)

Then it is click bait. You have to be a 4 star or top Transfer in order for it to be big news IMO.

Yes and a commitment from him would possibly qualify as "big news." Him just visiting, certainly does not since it was widely expected he would do so at some point. Either way, why is this visit so secret? It's been 4 days which is past the point where premium info such as a scheduled visit becomes known to everyone

Are you asking why there's so little info about Sy's visit? If so, I'd suggest it's because very few people care about a former 3 star recruit visiting as a possible transfer. If you're asking why PSN are treating it like a secret, refer to my first answer.

Then Vuc tried saying it was "big news" because a 4 star is visiting.
Then someone said we had 4 stars visit.
Then Vuc said none of our commits were 4 stars.
Then I screen shot 2 different times his publication has used 4 star to describe our current commits.
Then he shut up.

The funniest part is that Khadim Sy was a middling 3 star - 253 composite. I've heard numerous people on this board refer to him as a former 4 star and I couldn't understand what they were talking about. Now I know they were just parroting bad info from Vuc.

I don't care about stars, or rankings,
I just thought it was funny he totally contradicted himself.
I guess I was naive to the type of site he was running.
Well it's like the boy who cried wolf. There's no reason to care when he hints at something again.

I mean, it has gotten old hasn't it? I don't begrudge the guy and his fanboys on having a sight and being overly cheerleading. But this is the crap that gives them no credibility and why I wouldn't give them a dime.

Why are ppl getting worked up about what they post? Why would it bother you? The ppl who pay for that site should be mad not you who saves $. If it’s just a visit by SY then they will look stupid.

As far a SY I see ppl are acting like he would be nothing special to get. No he won’t be all ACC but the key is he can do 2 very important things our big guys can’t...he can actually catch the ball and finish in the paint. And he can rebound. Those skills especially the rebounding will help.

Because he was being a dick about it on twitter.
I think it's cool we are getting a visit. But dude sold it as something bigger then acted like a dick when people called him out on his own sites contradictions.

Well if he’s doing that it can be bad for his business. Stop paying $ for his site and that will hurt him where it counts.

Oh I definitely don't pay for his site. Enough people pay and just share it on here two minutes later anyhow.
 
His trump nonsense really gets me. I have no problem if he wants to be political, but he really should do it from a different Twitter account.

Who cares? He generated enough buzz that multiple threads on a competing website have spawned. Are you the sole arbitrator of what is “big news”? The people on this site complain incessantly. It’s like I’m drinking apple tini’s With Delta Burke and Liza Minnelli
