The significance of the Morrissey loss

I am very concerned about this loss. The center is the captain of the line and touches the ball on every single offensive play and has a chemistry with the qb. I for one am seriously concerned about the affect of his loss on the team.

Am I overreacting? How do others feel? Who replaces him, what is his experience?
