As many of you saw, Pitt added a new walk-on on Tuesday. In the initial thread, we found out he was a pretty good high school player back in Indiana and had some D3 interest.
So how did he end up at Pitt? He’s just a normal student in his freshman year at Pitt. He has been a practice player for the team and has been helping them practice all year long. He left for break like all the other rstudents, but was called back and asked if he wanted to join the team so he traveled back and suited up tonight and got in the game. Capel thought they needed an extra body with N’dir’s injury.
I wouldn’t expect to see much of him, but they likely need to have him around in case of emergency with the low numbers.
