Over the last 2 years is that this team rarely ever looks like it out-works the other team. The lazy passes and lack of hustle and hard nosed play drive me nuts.

I mean, we went from down 5 and in the game to down double digits in the blink of an eye as a result.
I said the same thing the other day. That and the linkage word that got thrown around (justifiably) at one point. But that's dead too.
You are tough and competitive with a hard ass edge or you are what we have on our team which is some skilled players without that hard ass Krauser Bronx edge. Dixon can scream all he wants at every halftime but it's his players and these lazy no heart 1st halves are becoming a trend recently.
Could you see any of these players at Pity playing at Rucker Park in the Bronx? We have a bunch of soft AAU types that would never survive on the tough playgrounds.

Seeing the same things you are plus the disorganized and hurried play once we get behind
Krauser and Troutman must throw up in their mouths a little bit if they watch any of these games. This is a "finesse" teams that wins when the shots are dropping. They have no other ways to win.
Where is this type of intensity from a Pitt player? Even an aggressive hard foul or mixing it up with a defender. The old Pitt players must be cringing watching our players play this way.
And it's not that he didn't go strong for it, he barely even tried to get a ball that should have been his. And then when the Clemson player picked it up he didn't even bother to try to get back and stop him from scoring, he just gave up on the play.
He got taken out right after that, but if I were coaching he wouldn't have come back into the game, and he'd have known why.
Just perplexing why a guy with his potential just doesn't do the stuff you need to do.
Bingo John! We don't have better players than the elites, but we used to outwork teams! Now we are soft and lazy!
Heck, remember when Talib Zanna was tossing UNC players out of the way in the ACC tournament? Any players on this team that could have that kind of a mans game? I don't think so.
I guess. He's not the elite defensive coach that many lazy announcers seem to think, but most of his teams were still 20-30 in efficiency on that end.
