NCAA needs to re-evaluate transfers and actually establish criteria that are consistently followed. Players are suppose to be students first, but holding it against them when it doesn’t work out is problematic. Everything is already semipro, except the transfer process.
sometimes things just don’t work out, same thing happens in the work force. Job isn’t what was described, boss is an ass, you aren’t comfortable etc etc and you can leave ato Take another job. Coaches do this everyday to give them better opportunities and many times leave the program a mess. Zero consequences for the coaches.
The whole hardship thing with family members being ill is obviously an opportunity that can be abused. But the ncaa can’t even make decisions on that consistently.
Maybe someday there will be a new organizational body that can take over.
