The needless block in the back by the Miami WR as his team mate crossed the goal line with what would've been the go ahead TD late in the 4th had a lot to do with it.
The funny thing is that if that guy could have thrown the ball far enough the receiver was going to be wide open for an easy touchdown. But when you need to throw the ball into the endzone to properly lead the receiver and the guy throws a balloon-ball that comes down at about the 12, well, that's not good. That throw looked more like a track guy in the shot put rather than a football player throwing a football.

Waste of a lot of talent
Exactly - you don't run a trick play - especially a trick play involving a TB pass in a snowstorm - just beyond stupid.
