Eliminate the age restriction to declare for the NFL. College football was always the NFL’s minor league. If college football wants to exist this is the major solution. There are many other adjustments that need to be made, but this is ground zero.

As an aside, I am so upset because I was looking forward to this season seeing JA being apart of Pitt winning the ACC and making the “playoffs.” However, the system has been so broken for so long that all of the positive changes for the athletes had led to new foreseeable cheating because the NCAA makes singular changes without looking at global issues. The sad part for me is that Pitt has always towed the line in playing fairly in a game that rewards cheating. I did not want Pitt to be Exhibit A as to why this “new” system is just as broken as the systems of prior years, but here we are. The Conferences and NCAA better make sweeping changes or they will kill the golden goose.
