Changes made in the off season in regards to targeting penalties.
There is absolutely no consistency throughout college football when they call this Penalty.
Just this weekend I have seen 3 or 4 hits that were not called. Which was MUCH worse than Hamlin’s and Ford calls this season.
Not only is there no consistency. It puts the outcome of games in the officials hands. Which is never a good thing.
All these subjective type penalty calls ( pass interference and holding ) allow the officials to dictate the outcome of games.
