They should just try to poach someone who was a highly rated recruit that’s stuck behind someone

Someone responded in the Spindler thread on this. I know everyone loves a good Penn State thread on this forum, and this is another. So all of the recent high profile kids they have gotten locally, how are they doing???

So I was looking at their depth chart, incoming class and where all of these WPIAL/City guys lie at this very moment.

This will be listed by position in a manner laid out by the Ourlads PSU depth chart at this very moment.

WR Pete Gonzalez is a a RS FR and in their (X/Y/Z) WR set, he is currently 2nd at the X WR, already pushed down by a transfer from USC. They also have recruited 3 WR's for this 2025 class, none higher than a 3 star (they really have trouble attracting WR)

TE Khalil Dinkins will be a SR is 2nd string, should see alot of time, but they recruited THREE TE's 2 of them 4 stars not including North Catholic's Brady O'Hara who is listed as an OT.

RB The great Quinton Martin is 4th on the depth chart since both Singleton and Allen are returning (how does this happen up there) and they have incoming Tikey Hayes and another 4 star RB. Unless Q has completely drunken the kool aid, I would think either a position move or a transfer is in the future.

DE Aliquippa's Zuriah Fisher is a 5th year SR and is listed as 2nd on the depth chart at his position. Experienced depth I guess.

MLB: Brashear's Tamere Robinson is listed as 2nd string and is a RS Soph, our buddy, Anthony Speca is 3rd and a RS FR. In this class, PSU has 4 stars Alex Tatsch from Latrobe and Imani's Daysean Burnett incoming and PSU always recruits this position well. Could Speca be a transfer candidate?

FS Char Valley's RS SO Lamont Payne is 3rd on the depth chart. PSU has a bunch of DB recruits, always recruits this well, I am guessing Payne never sees the field.

So.....I just thought this was interesting all of these kids get starry eyed over white out nights and hey, if they get paid, go to class and have a good seat to watch Ohio State every year, more power to them.
