Over the years we have seen the Natural Bridge, the World War II national exhibit - fantastic!, VMI Military Academy., This year we are going to try to get reservations at Beemer25. It is a restaurant owned by the coach in Raleigh.
 
I think you mean Beamer25 in Roanoke. If in Roanoke go see the star, it's the thing to do. Lots of people like to drive the parkway for the sights.
You should visit the April 16 memorial, it's in front of Burress Hall in the drill field.
Another important landmark is McAfees Knob on the AT. It's just off of 81, and it's the most visited location on the AT in VA.
You can also go see plenty of Civil War battlefields and the Stonewall Jackson House in Lexington.
