Defense got SAUCE. They are fast, play very hard, and have caused 2 very good QBs a lot of trouble through two games. This D will keep us in the PSU game for sure. If the offense can find some consistency, Pitt will be a tough out for anybody.
Pickett looked a lot better. Could have looked even better if people would catch the d@#% ball.
Ffrench will definitely have a big year. Has to clean up those mental errors though or that will cost Pitt a game somewhere.

Danielson's bull rush on that near pick was beastly. The guard never had a chance.
LBs are very talented. Johnson is a great pick up. Impactful player. Pine, Bright, and Davis looked really good too. Pursuit speed is excellent. Add in support from Ford and Hamlin and it will be tough to get the edge for Pitt's opponents.
Vince Davis is a tough little runner. Does not go down nearly as easily as one might expect from someone his size. He will break a big one before long
Will Gragg is looking like a legit weapon. I look forward to him eventually catching a seam route in stride and running like a giant deer to paydirt.
The game annoucers were terrible, even Congemi. They rode the illness narrative into the ground and didnt give much credit to Pitt's D for their play. They even stated how Pitt "struggled" with Perkins last week, which is far from truth. The ACC in-studio guys actually accurately made the point at half at how disruptive Pitt's was all game (10 Punts!!!), but the game guys never went off script. Very disappointing. You would have thought that Ohio was the favorite.
