Thinking more about the buyout

Nebraska’s AD was looking for answers and got Hoiberg to agree to lower his buyout in order to return.

Meanwhile, we have statements from Heather acting like everything is normal and fine.

I would love for you to post a coherent thought/opinion regarding the buyout discussion. I don't think you are capable and thus take the easy way out of just insulting somebody. If you disagree with a post, that's great. If you want to insult me, I don't care but please offer a rebuttal and make us believe you are not a moron.

You want me to put a coherent thought out about a buyout nobody has details on? Or, maybe you want me to play along with your latest hypothetical scenario? Ok, I'll play...

Hey Jeff, how about we give you $6m today, you walk away and spend some time with the family. Or, you can come back next year, collect your salary and you try to get the remaining $5m buyout. That's assuming we can't find something related to cause after dragging it through legal battles. Oh, and by the way, you're current staff won't be employed here next year. Maybe you settle for $7m or absolute worst case $8m.

It's not hard to find breach in contracts. They aren't written by the university to protect the employee.

How do you think airing that dirty laundry publically ia going to help Nebraska or Hoiberg be successful?

do you think it makes boosters and fans feel better - that essentially he’s going to be fired sooner rather than later ?

I don’t think it comes across as airing dirty laundry. It’s being transparent with the fan base.

At any rate, considering the two programs are in a similar situation, it certainly was relevant to compare.

I don’t see anyone thinking negligent or or purpose, but that’s a really low bar. More so in year 4. It’s a no go for what’s being (been) spent.
I believe there was evidence that Stallings was negligent if not purposely torpedoing the program. Having photos of you sleeping through high school games was damaging for our program.

I'm not saying a 20-loss season is in any way good, but this team had far more success than Stallings' did, acknowledging that these are different seasons and the ACC is a lot worse right now.
