Pitt has more FT attempts than anyone in the league. Yes they are getting into the lane more than any team in the ACC, but there’s not much ref complaining to be done from Pitt’s standpoint.

The NCAA has added so many damn points of emphasis that refs basically have to call everything now.

I would agree that a large number of fouls are being called. I am judging the last 3 games by the absence of bad or horrendous calls AND no official running out to mid court to make a dramatic call.

I’d throw out the refs “swallowing” their whistles would hurt us more than help us. Yes we’re thin with depth, but we make a living at the charity stripe.
