This board is too political...

i love gnocchi but man, that's a load of calories. feel as if i ate a bowling ball afterwards. i just can't eat like that anymore. people in their 20's can get away with that but they just don't have the palate.
You know what I cannot eat alot of at a meal anymore? Steak. A 12 ounce or more steak is a waste for me. I eat 6-8 ounces. Which sucks, because to add to this, I like it really thick because I want it truly medium rare. To get that, you need about a 20oz ribeye or even bigger Porterhouse.

Gnocchi? Yeah, it isn't something I am going to eat often, once/twice a year. Definitely not a "side pasta".

that's good b/c in the not too distant future, beef is going to be a very expensive and rare (pun intended) commodity.

Yeah - I avoid gnocchi. I can't eat a lot of anything in one sitting and these literally explode in my stomach.

and lord knows when you get the good stuff, you aren't stopping at a couple of bites. there's zero self control in that situation.

If you like all the differentiated pasta sauces, listen to Malcolm Gladwell's ted talk on happiness and spaghetti sauce.
