I know everyone was really excited to start the season but statistically this years defense was only improved on turnovers and sacks. And those things come and go with average DE talent like Pitt has.
This team will improve but they have hit the ceiling for the defense this year. I think we get beat up by ND and their WRs. I also think Duke puts up big points against us. Pitt can still get to 8 wins (well above the expectations of most) but it will have to play very well against Louisville and Miami.
Things are getting better but this year not even Narduzzi and Conklin could turn the shit talent we have on defense into anything for long.
