Started slow, got stronger to finish out the first half.
Second half, our defense gave up too many driving layups, and they,at times, were dominating on the glass with easy put backs. We passed the ball well, and our "big" guys made nice passes under the basket. But long stretches of empty trips downcourt hurt.
All season long, as tonight showed, we never gave up, playing hard and scrapping for everything, and Jamie kept exhorting them on but tonight victory eluded them.
The season continues on Saturday and from there the ACC and who knows what goodies follow.
