This is a HUGE game tonight!!!

Pitt has looked much better lately and of course that Duke game was great(glad I was wrong).

However, Pitt needs to continue its improved play of late and not fall to VT tonight. Yes it's on the road but we are better than VT, we beat them handily earlier at the Pete and that's when we weren't playing very well.

To me losing this game tonight would be crushing for 2 reasons. First, it would show that we still cannot play consistent good basketball and 2nd, it would make the GT a must win to guarantee a NCAA bid. I guess winning the 1st ACC tournament game could clinch it as well, but if it gets to that point we would have lost our last 2 games and there would be tremendous pressure on us.

I guess what I am saying is we need to win this game and should win this game.

All road games are hard and VT has played well at home this year. I wouldn't use the word "should".

They are all important obviously but after beating a top 15 team at home by double digits, losing to VT would be really bad, road game or not. No way we should lose tonight.
