At this point most all fans are recalibrating their expectations for this team. Most of us will enjoy the rest of the season hopefully watching this team grow. Like many of you, my deepest concern is that our coach, who is known for recruiting has delivered a goose egg so far. We have alot of ships to give, and so far no takers. I am so tired of all the recruiting talk and Pitt's hopes of landing many players who we were high on their list, but have passed on us.
It is hard to be positive regarding the future, when so far the future includes no new talent. I want to be patient and trust Capel, but, it is getting harder to stay positive as a fan when you know how badly these freshmen need more talent infused to complement them. I am sure the players, just like me and all our fans, would get a real shot in the arm if Capel could get a committment from just one top 100 player. Come on Coach Capel, give us that reason to believe. We all need a positive jolt right now!
