One thing that we know about
X, was we couldn't be pressed
full court with him on the ball.
Either man to man or zone, he
pretty easily handled it often
by himself. His turnovers didn't
occur when the team was facing
a press.

IMO that's a weakness of this team
that hasn't been realized yet. I'm
waiting to see how we do when a
team comes out full court against
us. I'm surprised we haven't seen it
yet.

6'5 point guard with a 6'11 wingspan passes right over the pressure.

You might know who's recruiting whom,
but if you think that's all it takes, you have
another guess coming.
BTW, I wasn't pointing out Femi, because I
like what I see out of him. This was a real
strength X had. I want to see what Capel
has them doing, and how it affects them
when they see real full court pressure.

I feel pretty confident you're concerns are unjustified. This is the worst ball handling we're ever going to see from Odukale, and it's been good. Keep that in mind.

I mean, if you are talking about something like a vintage Louisville press, we would have to watch it play out. But the guard play this year is so down in the ACC we aren't going to see something like that and we arent going to see it next year because the 2021 recruiting class is weak. Most of the power this year in the ACC is in the frontcourt, the majority of which, AKC faces nightly.

The majority of Femi's turnovers this year have been communication breakdowns with his own teammates. His ball control has been clean. In his last 12 ACC games, Femi has 14 total turnovers. That is about as rock solid as you are going to get for a freshmen with a broken arm.

What is your love affair with Femi??
My post was questioning how we
might or not do well against full
court pressure. I'm not singularly
calling Femi out. I'm questioning
what this collection of guards is
going to do against that pressure.

The other point was, despite all of
his bad points, the one thing X
could do was single handily beat
full court pressure. I'm curious,
and just waiting to see the result.
