Shane Murray was not that athletic either, yet he was 2nd on the team in tackles 2 years in a row on BE contending teams. Jerry O was not that athletic or had size. He is one of the top LBs in school history and even started a couple years in the pros. He's not particularly athletic. To my untrained eye.
What possible reason would I have to watch a committed Nit’s video?
I thought this was the other kid, John Wetzel , who did not commit anywhere yet. Am I wrong? What possible reason would I have to watch a committed Nit’s video?
It is Wetzel.I thought this was the other kid, John Wetzel , who did not commit anywhere yet. Am I wrong?

There's no burst when he needs to close on the ball. Looks like the run of the mill WPIAL linebacker.
I wouldn't know since I didn't watch it. If so I apologize.I thought this was the other kid, John Wetzel , who did not commit anywhere yet. Am I wrong?
I don't think they offered the Wetzel kid, just had him down for Jr day. Frankly, I don't care for either of the Latrobe guys. Then why did we offer him... and Specca... and Sullivan... and Burnett, etc.?
Has Narduzzi lost his touch when it comes to identifying talent? Our linebackers weren't good last season. Or the season before that, frankly.

I saw a football player watching those films. Maybe not the greatest athlete but athletic enough. But the kid can play football. The article says he’s a LB commit, seems like his speed is in the 4.5 4.6 range. Plenty fast enough, plays faster since he gets threw traffic and off blocks. I thought his tape looked good.
