Given the progression after the ACC championship, and that apparently the buyout starts to significantly drop from here on, I think this year is critical for his future.
I was very happy with the change in offense. It was needed. We saw really good signs. That needs to continue.
However, I think if they go 6-6 and under .500 in the ACC again the seat is either on fire or you cut bait. If they go, just a hypothetical, 3-5 in the ACC that’s 13-19 in conference since the ACC title. That isn’t cutting it.
I know the schedule isn’t exactly easy this year, but at some point if you can’t get to averaging 8-4 per year, I think you have to cut bait.
