I like the hire of Jason. I have accidentally used his name instead of Jeff several times already. I am sure that will happen again. Obviously he is young and doesn't have a ton of experience, but I think the age can be beneficial. Most people remember him playing at North Carolina and the name. He can relate to kids and I think he will be able to connect with prospects. The head coaching experience would have to be an advantage for him as well. Sometimes it is tough for a broadcaster to leave the booth because of the gig, but I think this is the right fit for him.
O'Toole is a little out of nowhere. Obviously Jeff had a relationship with him. The California program is tough and I think it was a very good move for his career to get out of there. I need to go back through his profile to get a better feel for it. He has a very diverse resume. I think his profile sits as the experienced bench guy.
The third hire will need to be a stud recruiter. As it stands right now, that is where I think it needs to go. A lot of potential with Jason. Jeff is obviously a very good recruiter and closer so that helps. Still, this third hire is critical.

There seems to be some momentum with Brian Regan as the operations guy. Sounds like Jason Richards may be able to find some kind of specialized title. It also sounds like Mike Rice is out of the mix.
