Heinz Field "paid attendance" as we all know is quite different from "actual butts in seats attendance"....
what are we looking for with this Military Bowl situation.

Has Pitt not sold out it's allotment in years past?

I always thought we sold all out tickets, and like home games...the show-rate was low.
(but in the end the bowl shouldn't care, they got their $ right?)

I dont think we'll have a problem selling 7-8k seats, but the 40k stadium very well might not be full- especially since the weather in annapolis is sooo wonderful in late decemeber....actual butts in seats might become an issue.

Pitt just needs to sell out it's allotment. And we need to be loud and noticeable. Specifically in showing our support for James.

Exactly. The stadium is small enough that we should be able to make a great showing to support the team and James Conner. Let's let everyone know that we are proud of Pitt and James.

Stadium holds 34,000 and Pitt's allotment is 7,333.

I would expect the local season ticket base for Navy would be buying the other 27,000 tickets. They sell out their home games as it is.

I hope James can make it there and is introduced by himself. Literally would bring tears to my eyes. Toughest kid in America.

Pitt has most certainly not sold it's allotment to previous bowl games. Not even close. The university eats the tickets. So the bowl game gets paid, but no one is in the seats, no one is buying concessions, no one is staying at the local hotels, no one is eating at the local restaurants, and so on.

Seriously, how could anyone think that Pitt has sold out of their allotment of tickets to previous bowl games?
