Time to move Sweet Caroline to another spot...the start of the 4th quarter should be solely for the "Rage Party" the Pitt players go into a frenzy for.

Having both at the same time is like bringing a nun to a stripper party.

Is this still a thing? I don't think the players pay much attention to it.

Play it before the start of the 3rd quarter, if you have to play it at all. SC was such a letdown after the team rage.

Large, I like your suggestion. After a victory, after the team comes to the students to sing the Victory song.

I thought they had already killed this unimaginative imitation of something Boston Red Sox baseball fans started. It still lives? Ugh. It reflects an I don't care if we win or lose attitude that has no business at a football game.

Agree fully. Ive always thought Sweet Caroline was stupid. I actually now think its detrimental so it must be gotten rid of as soon as possible.

Isn't this someone else's tradition that we took on?

Why not just move it to the shuttles after the game. They can sing it all the way back to Oakland.

It looks like the players are dancing to the Harlem Shake why not play that and everyone dance

Play it only after a victory. Give the students extra incentive to stay until the end of the game and make some noise in the 4th quarter.

This is what I'd do as well. It helps the team establish its new tradition of playing winning football in the fourth quarter with a pump up video during the third quarter break.

I never cared for this song at Pitt games, yet I could live with this suggestion.

My biggest beef with it is that it is a mellow song that does nothing to pump the team up (which is exactly why the new 4th quarter tradition makes sense in it's place). But if it were played after the students sing the victory song, I would be much, much less bothered by it.

For 8 years, the loudest the stadium typically gets for every game is when Sweet Caroline is played and the fans shout Lets's Go Pitt! over and over.
It amazes me that so many on this board want to get rid of that.

It's should only be played at end of the game with a victory and make it shorter.
