And none of them we in stride where he could do anything after the catch. All you have to know about Peterman is that the coaching staff has zero confidence in him with the play calling on 2 and 3 downs with 4 to 6 yards to gain.
Yeah, hes just a game manager... He isnt going to beat you with his arm. Although I.suspect it's more due to lack of receivers and not Peterman
Last drive (ended in interception), Tipton kept that alive with an unbelievable catch when it was 4th and 4. Terrible pass and he adjusted his body to make a spectacular grab
If you ever get the opportunity to get to a Pitt practice you will see that Peterman has problems hitting receivers in drills when there are no defenders. His receivers are not great but his accuracy is horrible. That is why Naduzzi does not let him throw the ball. Trust me it is Peterman.
It's not a lack of his confidence; it's the coaches confidence in him because he's always hurt. Hopefully he avoid that because he's the most like TBoyd.
it is time to take the redshirt off TMAC. I know he is not ready but he cannot be worse than Peterman. Peterman is a transfer that is essentially a statue. TMAC is a better athlete and really can't be worse throwing the ball. Peterman wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Jim Chaney being the first OC under Duzz. Very sad, we have talent on this team, but as long as Peterman is QB we have no chance, Let's see whaT TMAC can do. What do we have to lose? Instead of 7 wins, maybe we find a guy who can do more. I know that in a year or two Narduzzi is going to have us a dominant defense. We need to have offense to, it is time to work on that this year. WE don't need anymore Tom Savage's or Nate Peterman's , we just need a Qb that aint a stiff that nobody else really wants. TMAC is the man, start giving him the reps!
Narduzzi is building for 2-3 years from now. And he wants 4 years of MacVittie starting next year.
He will NOT take a snap this season unless it is an emergency.
Why not play freshman at CB, S, LB and WR too? We could upgrade the talent on the field all over the place with freshman. I'm sure they are all also not ready but they cannot be worse than what's out there....
