A pretty good day can become a GREAT day if Arizona and Boise State win.

Arizona will win. I'm not staying up to learn about Boise/Utah State. LOL

Yea it’s been a solid day overall for Pitt from top to bottom. I don’t think Penn State winning hurts Pitt that much anymore as I think they are pretty safely in the tournament and they aren’t competing with them so much anymore for the last 4 byes or last 4 in. Vandy is still a problem I think and hopefully as you mentioned both Utah State and Arizona State can both lose tonight which would help Pitt out even more.

It's a friday, DT!

You're getting too old. Spike your metamucil with some caffeine and stay up and watch the games.

Already a few too many beers this evening to keep my eyes open at this point.

I really appreciate all of your updates though.

I should also add this. Isn't it GLORIOUS to again be watching basketball into the wee hours of Friday before selection Sunday because it matters to us once again!!

Last year on this night, I might have been in bed around 9:15 or so. LOL

- PSU was already in but are now ahead of Pitt
- I agree that Vandy looks in with 9 Q1/2 wins even with 3 Q3/4 losses. Their SOS is 6.
- Pitt should be ahead of NC State but Palm has them as a 9 seed and Pitt 11.

In Lunardi’s bracket, if ASU and USU and Vandy all pass Pitt. Pitt would be the first team out. Palm has Pitt as the 2nd highest 11 seed, so there’s room for 5 teams to pass Pitt.

If both ASU and USU lose tonight, Pitt should almost certainly be in, even if it’s Dayton. Arizona is up 7 at the half.

Absolutely agree DT!

Yeah Boise and Utah State split their last 2 head to head games which probably puts both of them ahead of Pitt. Vandy could also be ahead of Pitt.

Pitt still alive likely in last 4 out (Dayton) territory. Worst case perhaps next to last out. Either NC State or Pitt ( or both ?) will be in Dayton.

Avoid his stealing and we’re in. Need OSU out tomorrow.

Memphis, Houston, Purdue, FAU

If those 4 win tomorrow we’re in the tourney.

FAU has to win or there’s a bid steal.

The problem is Palm and Lunardi are two of the worst bracketologists going.
