Tom Herman

I'm not a big fan of hiring the interim coach.

Hackett, bill Stewart, etc.

Probably been some good ones too.

Was dabo swinney one?

Question les miles wasn't good enough so you hired his dline coach?

Les won enough not to run him off sooner, he was never what they wanted when he was hired. Brass there never liked him

Have no idea. I think they like the fact Ed will be controlled easier

I think they are doing it because they think this gets them lane kiffin. Which if they do and he does well he'll be gone after one season anyway

Strong basically did most of what he was hired to do, which was to clean the thugs, and bad actors out of the program, who were running amok under Mack Brown. Herman is stepping into a good situation, as Strong has recruited well his last two years.

I told people on this board 2 months ago that LSU was no lock to get Herman, and that it would depend on what other jobs opened up. LSU is a good job, but it's a step below Texas. LSU has the 800lb gorilla siting in it's neighborhood. Texas doesn't have to deal with anything like that unless they're in the playoff. If USC was looking, Herman might have picked them over LSU as well.

Houston can want Holgerson all they want but why in the heck would he go backwards to an AAC school?
