Nobody giving Pitt a chance in this one. A lot of people think our DL is going to get manhandled. A lot of very smart people are saying this.

“TOM LOY
It looks like is there is potential for rain on Saturday on Pittsburgh, so we will see what happens on that front. However, I don’t see a way Notre Dame loses this one regardless, unless it plays the worst game of the season. I actually believe this is the game where quarterback Ian Book and the receivers return to form and look better than they have all season long.
Pittsburgh has been giving up some big plays through the air and it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Irish hit on a few on Saturday. No question they will take a few shots early.
Also, when it comes to the battle in the trenches, much has been said about the Panthers on defense, but I’m not taking the Pittsburgh defensive line over the Notre Dame offensive line. Both are terrific, but I expect the group from South Bend to continue looking like the best offensive line in the country.
Book will have enough time to make some plays, the rushing attack will continue to keep things rolling, and the Irish will remain undefeated
Notre Dame 38 Pittsburgh 17”
