Came over here to submit a post offering my condolences and best wishes for Tony Dorsett, one of the all time greats, following his diagnosis with Chronic Traumatic Encepalopathy ("CTE"). Surprised to see that, apparently, there was no thread on the subject. Realize that the ND game may have been a distraction. Anyway, Dorsett is certainly not the first NFL veteran, nor will he be the last, to be afflicted with CTE. I'm not a Pitt alum (Cal alum and PSU parent), but I want to offer my best wishes to him as he seeks treatment.

He was diagnosed a long time ago... has been discussed.

But, as you can tell, posters here only like talking about negative things. They come out after big games. The only thread on it was how we would lose because we had all the pitt greats here this weekend.

We need some ND cockiness I think. Narduzzi will help with that.

I was out of town & don't currently have time to find a link, but did anybody see the article in Thursday's USA TODAY? (I think it was Thurs, could have been Weds)

Tony is was the bomb...enjoyed watching him as an 11 year old... Appreciate his greatness as an Adult... Can't say more really...legendary player

Tony is doing better but was really bad until the got the full results for a while. He has worked hard on his condition and is not afraid to talk about it so he can help others?

Thank you for a nice posting. I just met one of tony''s Friends that stays at his home sometime when he is in the area!

When on TV yesterday, Tony D looked very alert, animated with the recruits and his old teammates. God Bless him and he's no Mike Webster. God Rest Mike Webster.
