Watched him from the time he was in the 5th grade and he was always bigger then everybody else. This allowed him to do well. Never was a D1 Power 5 conference Football player, only in size.. Good move on his part heading to the Rock.

Many people don't realize how size at an early age makes some kids early superstars and late "flame-outs" looking for a place to land.

Both of our kids started playing flag football at 5 yrs old back in the early to mid 90's and were ok players both on the small side.

As time moved on they got bigger, hit the weights became HS standouts and watched alot of the "early bloomers" fade away.

Alot of parents pull their kids from sports early not understanding that kids develope at different rates.
