Haha....you're cute. Its all just promises until he becomes a UF student though. You cant sign a contract while a HS student as that would be a recruiting violation

I think that's what everyone is thinking but has anyone with any real knowledge of the situation said anything for certain? It appears that the problem is that the Florida boosters have reneged on the deal. They want to sign him to a lesser deal, and they want him to agree as part of that that he won't sue to enforce the original deal. So far he and his family seem more likely to sue than agree to that.

Right, but to what extent? I don't believe for a minute that there is $13 million involved here. If he was worth that much, he'd easily get it from the next school. All UF insiders have said it’s NIL related. But nobody has said anything besides that.

Would seem that signing LOI's isn't smart business for top recruits. Give away all of your leverage. As of now he isn't getting offers from other schools because he signed a LOI.
But there isn't anyone saying that on the record. It's all based on the "insiders" who are always full of crap. The Athletic says that he signed a $13+ million NIL contract on November 10. It says that the collective that signed him didn't have anywhere near enough money on hand to actually pay for the deal they agreed to, apparently assuming that they were going to get money from other boosters or a different NIL collective. Then on December 7 the CEO of the collective sent Rashada a letter of termination for the NIL contract.

I would love to give one of these contracts a look. It's clearly "pay for play" if he has to play on the team to get paid.Of course there would be a contract. He'd sign with their collective and if he left school, I am sure he wouldn't get some of it.
You're not wrong at all but it all feels a bit too outlandish to just take at face value.Well if you are waiting for someone to comment on the record on one of these deals you are going to wait for a very, very long time.
What incentive would anyone have to comment on the record about the actual numbers in an NIL contract? It wouldn't make any sense at all for any of the parties involved.

but lost their conference championship game to a below average Utah team and then lost in embarrasing fashion to something called Tulane... seems to be absolutely the definition of what he said....a team that went basically no whereThey were a game away from making the playoffs…

Are you suggesting they wouldn’t have, had Addison not been on the team?A team that was a game away from the playoffs and went to the conference championship.
