Great! Let them have a bidding war, so we get the full amount from the buyout.
I think this is why the tcu rumor report was floated. He's gone he's trying to get two teams in a bidding war. Smart.

My indications were that UNLV had no interest in Dixon.
Works for me, and we both make out in the end. Jamie should write a book on how to beat a 2-3 Zone, how to manipulate the RPI, and how to negotiate a contract. He is brilliant at all 3. I hope he gets a boatload of money. I like the guy.
Looked at their hoops board. Nothing. I am not opening 50 threads to try and find it, that would seem to merit its own thread. But there are no insiders there, so count me as doubtful.
Now excuse me while I take a shower. That place gives me the creeps.
Was just reading that Cronin is being considered at UNLV. Now there's a guy who would fit in at Vegas.
Based on the folks I talked to over this past week, I do not believe this tweet.
Cronin to UNLV does seem to be picking up steam. And it sounds like Underwood is the odds on fav at Ok St.
This guy has broken pgh sports news in the past, news that was out of nowhere too, so I'm curious.
I'm starting to be genuinely resigned to the fact that he's gone.
There is a definite interest, Dixon's name has been all over local media for a month now. People here were all fixated over Pitino, and when it became apparent he wouldn't be coming, interest has now settled on the second group of names, Dixon, Underwood, and now Mick Cronin.
Many people out here are clamoring for assistant Stacey Augmon to be given the job, I guess there's no shortage of stupidity amongst fans.
UNLV is notorious for lowballing their coaches, supposedly there were boosters ready to pony up the cash for Pitino, but I doubt they would be willing to do the same for a Jamie Dixon or Mick Cronin type.
I wish I still did. When Lon Kruger left for Oklahoma there was a big behind the scenes push to get Jay Wright to come back to Vegas that very few people knew about.
Unfortunately I am not in the same circles anymore and am pretty much left to speculate on these things just like everyone else.
