Watching all of this Duke love with it being Coach K’s last home game, former players on TV nonstop, I’m sure he’s in his hotel room in South Bend glued to ESPN. Tough for him because he can’t be part of it. Unfortunately the team he is currently the head coach of has a game versus Notre Dame this afternoon that will get in the way of his Duke love fest.
I’m being sarcastic but admittedly I was shocked at how much love and admiration he heaped on them last week on a game day. I would have said something like ‘congrats to them but let’s talk about my team’. Maybe he can get hired as a quality control assistant there next year? About all he’s worth.
