Here's a look at how Pitt's departed scholarship transfers did last week.
Kedon Slovis (BYU) - 27-14 W vs. Texas Tech
Slovis didn’t put up huge numbers against Texas Tech - 15-of-27 for 127 yards - but he threw two touchdown passes, including one to former Pitt transfer target Darius Lassiter, to help BYU build a 24-7 lead at halftime that held up. Through seven games this season, Slovis has thrown for 1,519 yards, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in five of seven games and has only thrown one pick in BYU’s last three games.
Vincent Davis (UNLV) - 25-23 W vs. Colorado State
Davis was UNLV’s leading rusher in the win over Colorado State, recording 61 yards on 17 carries and also adding one reception for 27 yards. With 388 yards on the season Davis is also UNLV’s leading rusher this year, averaging 5.6 yards per carry.
Jaden Bradley (Charlotte) - 10-7 W vs. East Carolina
Charlotte recorded its second win of the season and its first since the opener against South Carolina State, but Bradley did not see the field. He has played in just two games this season.
Jaylon Barden (Georgia Southern) - 38-28 W vs. ULM
Georgia Southern beat Louisiana-Monroe on Homecoming, and Barden continued to see playing time. After logging 37 snaps against JMU, he played 24 offensive snaps against ULM and caught 2-of-3 targets for 28 yards.
Gavin Thomson (UNLV) - 25-23 W vs. Colorado State
Thomson did not see the field this week.
Myles Alston (Old Dominion) - 28-21 W vs. Appalachian State
ODU won an exciting game on Saturday, scoring a touchdown and two-point conversion with 48 seconds left to play to beat Appalachian State. Alston did not play in the win.
Kyi Wright (James Madison) - 20-9 W vs. Marshall
JMU stayed perfect on the season with a win over Marshall last Thursday. Wright played 11 offensive snaps in the win, spending most of his time run-blocking.
John Morgan (Arkansas) - 7-3 L vs. Mississippi State
Morgan’s road back from injury continued last week, as he played 17 defensive snaps in the loss to Mississippi State.
Sam Williams (Murray State) - 28-24 L at Missouri State
Williams has been getting playing time lately, and he recorded one sack on seven snaps in the loss at Missouri State.
Khalil Anderson (East Tennessee State) - 34-3 L at Chattanooga
Anderson made his third consecutive start this past weekend and recorded five tackles, including one tackle for loss, as well as a pass breakup.
Judson Tallandier (Akron) - 41-14 L at Bowling Green
This has been a rough season for Akron, falling to 1-7 after losing their sixth in a row against Bowling Green. Tallandier has started every game, and he recorded five tackles in the loss to BG.
