Trey Andersen

Really nice article on him on Pittsburghsportsnow. He seemed to be a steal from me, looks like a real athletic big guy. Definitely a chance to stick at TE if that’s what he wants
As long as he wears his magic long johns under his uni he should do well.

Somebody posted a video of him running agility drills about a week or so ago. Long story short, the odds of him sticking at tight end are about .04%. I'll be curious to see what he can bring as a potential tackle.

He's the "reach" that made sense to me because it's a position of need. Big kid that didn't get any good offers other than BYU. No idea if he can catch the ball but he could end up being another Brian O'Neill, too.
If he has a good work ethic, then you could easily turn him into a 6-6 300lb. OT that makes the 2-deep at some point in his college career. Jumbo Athletes with a good work ethic are a nice combination.

Stache, at Pitt I was friends with a Mormon guy. We all lived in Tower A. One of the guys on the floor kept riding the Mormon guy about his undertgarments. Needles to say, Chris, the Mormon guy, did not take kindly to the continual razzing. Chris called him out. I have never seen a fight and so quickly. Chris thoroughly kicked the another guy's ass. Of course, no one EVER said anything to Chris about his underwear after that fight.

That had to impress Chris's wives.

man, don’t look at me, I would never make fun out of anyone else’s religion in any way.

I think us Catholics eating a cracker and drinking wine as cannibalism is worse than wearing undergarments

I hope you're right. Brian O'Neil was an
unusual mix of big, quickness, and speed as
evidenced by the fact that he was the player
of the year in BASKETBALL in the state of Delaware.
He ran a 4.8 40 at the pro combine which was
one of the fastest times for an O Lineman
the last several years.

His early morning forced eating habits at Pitt
helped him to gain weight and become a great
O linemn at Pitt. What he did was certainly
not the norm. But I agree with you about
Anderson being the "reach that made sense,"
We'll see what the coaches plan to do with him.

In the 2021 class the lair has T. Anderson listed as OL, and bartholomew as a TE

Hisis athletic so he wants to be a TE, but hisdad and trainer think his path to the nfl is tackle. Tough for a big athletic guy to be told that, I’m 6’5” and played rb, mlb and baseball player, and I remember in 8th grade the high school coach told me as athletic as I am I’d make a great OT. I absolutely thought the guy was on drugs and after my freshmen year just switched all out to baseball. I literally couldn’t get it around my head what the coach meant, and I think Trey has some of that going on.
