Very promising to see the defense play so well. Kenny and Mack left it all on the field and made some big plays. Great to see such amazing effort and tenacity.
Not so good to see that the streak of no TDs in the second half continues (maybe it would have ended had they gone for it on 4th or simply just run on 1st down- and kept running it). Are the coaches even working much RBs in practice on short yardage and goal line situations?
Narduzzi mentioned at the beginning of the year he was confident the running game would be good. While there looks to be some talented backs, there isn’t even one RB on the team who the coaches have enough confidence in to get them one yard when they need it.
Kenny again had a lot of passing yards and the offense came through with some big plays, yet they still struggle to turn any of that movement down the field into TDs. This is a very serious issue that plagues this team.
