My Directv is acting up due to a two inch snow event and in case I don’t have the satellite feed for the game how can I access the game from my tablet. Thanks in advance for any input.
Your DirecTV isn’t working because of two inches of snow? Something tells me a simple reset and a little afternoon sun will have you all set by kickoff. My Directv is acting up due to a two inch snow event and in case I don’t have the satellite feed for the game how can I access the game from my tablet. Go to the ESPN app on your phone or tablet (or through the WatchESPN website), log into the app with your DirectTV info, and you should be able to access it. At that point, you can “throw it up” if you have a smart TV or use a device + HDMI to show it.My Directv is acting up due to a two inch snow event and in case I don’t have the satellite feed for the game how can I access the game from my tablet. Thanks . Been on and off past 12 hours. Can’t even switch it to standard. Was on phone with them for over an hour. Said to give it 24 hours.Usually with bad weather it comes back soon after but not this time.Is the ESPN App a possibility,Your DirecTV isn’t working because of two inches of snow? Normally now but they claim I might have ice build up on my receiver .This isnt a ringing endorsment for DirecTV. You're saying if you get 2 inches of snow, your DirecTV will be out for more than 24 hours?
No problem. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, though. Thanks man.
Well that’s not a ringing endorsement for cutting the cable. My Directv is acting up due to a two inch snow event and in case I don’t have the satellite feed for the game how can I access the game from my tablet. Thanks in advance for any input.
Man climb up there with a blowtorchNormally now but they claim I might have ice build up on my receiver .
But DTV has the ACC NetworkLOL....finally.....HAVING COMCAST WORKS FOR ME!!!!!
Did you dust the snow off of the dish? A heavy wet snow that sticks to your dish will f your picture up more than you think.Like another said reset your receiver by unplugging it and plugging it back in to reboot. My Directv is acting up due to a two inch snow event and in case I don’t have the satellite feed for the game how can I access the game from my tablet. But next time try to dust the snow off of the dish if you can reach it safely. Thanks for the hints.Pleased to say that JD 1976 was right. Mild day with sun thawed the dish out. Let’s go Pitt !
Hahaha. You can’t have Direct Tv if you think this has any substance. Why do people post stuff that they clearly have no clue about. The LNb bounces signal off of the dish, ORIts not the snow on the dish, its the thing pointing at the dish that needs to be clean of debris.
The LNB or cone? If it has ice or snow on it will mess it up as well.try to keep that dusted off if you can safely as well.luckily my dish is back down on the ground.i used to take a long broom and reach up and dust it off as soon as I noticed any snow or ice build up.Its not the snow on the dish, its the thing pointing at the dish that needs to be clean of debris.
Whatever son.Hahaha. You can’t have Direct Tv if you think this has any substance. Why do people post stuff that they clearly have no clue about. The LNb bounces signal off of the dish, OR
WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU NEED A FREAKING DISH?
The snow on the dish is causing the signal loss

Hey I’ve had a dish of some kind since 1984.Whatever son.
I wasted thousands of dollars on satellite Tv for over a decade.
As long as you don’t let it pile up on it you’ll be ok.it’s the heavy wet stuff that does it and if you let it freeze up on it you have a real mess.I have had DirecTV for decades, and in all that time my services hasn't been down for 24 minutes due to snow let alone 24 hours. Heck, it might not even have been down for 24 seconds!
You are correct , a broom is an awesome tool for a dish.Hey I’ve had a dish of some kind since 1984.
The game is only on regional sports networks. I don’t live in Philly, but I would doubt it is on NBC Sports Philly. You might be relegated to online. Try ESPN.com and click watch at the bottom. What channel is it on in Philly?
I have read your posts for years and deduced that at one point you had one of those gigantic ones.As long as you don’t let it pile up on it you’ll be ok.it’s the heavy wet stuff that does it and if you let it freeze up on it you have a real mess.
