You can add two more huge names to Pitt's official visit roster for the month of December. Pitt has continued to mark the weekend of December 9th through the 11th as their most prominent official visit weekend and two rapidly-emerging Florida targets will be in town to see what Pitt has to offer.

Three-star Lakeland (Fla.) cornerback Damarri Mathis confirmed that both he and his Rivals250 teammate, running back Anthony Davis, would be making the trip to the Steel City to see Pitt after coach Josh Conklin stopped by at their high school and again at their houses for in-home visits.

The trip will be Mathis' first and only scheduled official visit. He is a former South Carolina commit who decommitted from Will Muschamp's Gamecocks program yesterday following the visit from Conklin, a situation he explained at length in the update I'll have coming. Mathis holds offers from the likes of South Carolina (obviously), Ole Miss, Minnesota, Louisville, Cincinnati, South Florid, and UCF in addition to Pitt. He's emerged in a very serious way as a possibility to be Pitt's first cornerback commit after things went south with Philadelphia-area target Kenny Bennett.

This will be Davis' second official visit after a September trip to see the Mizzou Tigers in Columbia. Davis is ranked as a four-star prospect, the country's 13th-best running back, and the 174th overall prospect in America. His offers are manifold and include the home-state triumvirate of Florida, Florida State, and Miami (Fla.) as well as power programs like Michigan, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and many others. He counts over two dozen scholarship offers in total, most of them from Power Five conference teams.

I've embedded senior highlights from both prospects below, beginning with Mathis and then going on to Davis.
